Random thought and in Search of Profit

I've woken up pretty good this morning. It's the birthday of one of my good friend. You can check his blog here. Wish him a Hapy birthday. he just turned 30.

As for me..i am pretty good spirits. I'm all about getting stuff done today and have gone through the majority of my list. Let it be known now I LOVE to do lists. there's something very calming and empowering about giving things over to the list. Crossing them off when you finish them..or adding notes when you have things pending. My mornings used to begin with prayer,exercise and to do lists. Don't do the lists as much anymore...or the exercise but both may have to come back. Though the exercise has made a comeback in the morning more recently in sporadic form.

the only thing about the lists is that they don't last long. If something takes too long then it will leave my mind. It can only make consecutive lists maybe two more times. Then I will need a break from it for a bit and will come back to it later. Unless it's really important but hopefully if it is then I've already satisfactorily (is that a word???)dealt with it.

Anyway tangent aside what my burst of energy made me realize is that success/accomplishment on even the smallest level is a drug. When you are in the mood to do things and be proactive and accomplish it's a buzz. And it illuminated me to the possibility of why so many successful people get into trouble. The thinking is that after completing whatever stands before them they have all this energy left over and no where to put it. They are seeking more input more challenges. And instead of being able to channel it properly there are distractions and temptations that draw them away from the things they should be concentrating on. In fact let me say it'snot just succesful people..cause that is a misnomer. Cultural defintions of success notwithstanding. People in general get caught up when things are going good. When things are bad it's easier to focus on what's at hand. But when you are feeling good you think you can take on the world. And it's that arrogance that get's people in trouble. Anyway that's the random thought for the day.

Also I'm seriously thinking of making this a for profit sight. My home setup isn't exactly ready yet..but I will probably sign up with Ad-Sense and have some links on here soon. And i may change the layout to include more links on the side frames. Let me know what you think.
